Hello my name is 麻琴 み久 (Makoto Miku). I’m a casual Nogi fan who has decided to translate blogs of various members of Nogizaka 46. My current oshi is Kubo Shiori and this blog will mainly be dedicate to translating her blogs. I hope to have all of her blogs translated eventually. My former oshis were Maiyan, Kotoko and Miria.
I am mainly doing this for translation practice, I’m not a native Japanese speaker so I will make mistakes so please let me know when I do. My translation style is extremely loose, and I never try and go for direct translation if I can avoid it. I try to use style and mood while still conveying the meaning. I don’t know how to subtitle videos but I you want me to translate for tv shows I’d be down to do it but you would have to time the translations.
